Hi! I'm Melissa – a copyeditor with a passion for perfecting the written word, which has granted me the privilege of editing for indie authors and publishers.

If you're looking for someone to transform and elevate your stories, then you've come to the right place.

In 2009, I graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Social Science. During a short break I found that I wanted only to read and not stop reading. In 2011, I undertook a Master of Publishing at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2013, with the intention of doing just that.

I am an associate member of The Institute of Professional Editors Limited (IPEd) and currently working towards becoming an accredited member.

During 2018 and 2019, I completed Copywriting Essentials and Real Estate Copywriting through the Australian Writers' Centre (AWC).

I worked as an intern for Spineless Wonders as part of my Master of Publishing degree and volunteered for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation at Book Expo NSW in 2014.

Most days you'll find me hanging out with my mini me and my husband or writing and editing with my dogs by my side and a steaming hot mug of tea in hand. If you're up for a cuppa and a chat, get in touch here.
