A contract is drawn up and signed by both parties and acts as protection for author/client and editor. Additionally, the contract is a mini brief that outlines the requirements of the job and the expectations and ensures we are all on the same page.

Payment Options

Payment can be made via bank deposit or PayPal. 50% payment is required before work commences with the remainder to be paid within a week of completion.


Information about your writing or your business and any content that belongs to you will not be shared anywhere or with anyone unless I have discussed it with you and have your written permission.

Editing Information

Preferred Style

I can write and edit AU, UK and US styles depending on your preference. If you’re not sure which to choose, feel free to discuss with me before work commences.

Format preferences

Editing can be completed within Microsoft Word using the Track Changes feature or via Google Docs using the Suggest Edits feature. Proofreading is completed via PDF using the Annotate feature. Beta reading can be completed via a Microsoft Word document or PDF. Copywriting final copy can be provided via Microsoft Word, PDF or Google Docs.

Manuscript preparation

Although I can work with whatever format you send me, if your document’s font is Times New Roman, 12pt and double-spaced it will make for easier reading and faster editing.
